RMMT will show you how to transform risks into opportunities. The Risk Management Maturity Tool (RMMT) is a multi-media self-diagnostic software tool which measures the maturity of your organisation to manage risk and harness opportunities. The RMMT process recognises that risk management should be as much about maximising opportunities for gain as it is about minimising the risks of failure. The RMMT is simple to use and can be applied in any industry sector, for a specific project, a major risk, department, region or across a whole public or private sector organisation.

What can you expect from the RMMT?

The RMMT assessment is submitted to Synergy, and within 48 hours a report is issued with:

1. Your score for overall risk maturity, and for each dimension.
2. A series of radar charts, highlighting strengths and weaknesses.
3. Benchmarking with others, including your sector.
4. Comments on areas of strength and potential improvement for each dimension.
5. Recommendations to achieve and sustain international best practice processes.

Development of RMMT

The RMMT was developed in consultation with Professor Martin Loosemore. With professorial appointments at leading universities in Australia, UK and USA, Martin is a globally recognised expert in risk management, with projects such as the construction of the Beijing Olympic facilities and risk management of global warming impacts on organisations and industry sectors.

Risk Management Standards

Synergy’s RMMT is aligned with national and international standards including;
AS/NZS 4360, Draft ISO 31000 and COSO 2004.
